Birth Doula Support & Coaching

WHAT IS A BIRTH DOULA?
Birth doula is a trained professional who provides continuous physical, emotional and informational support to their client before, during and shortly after childbirth to help them achieve the healthiest, most satisfying experience possible. Doula is a birth coach who
helps you feel supported while labor after your baby is born. Having a doula with you may reduce your labor time, make it easier to handle all sensations during childbirth and it's been proven to influence outcomes for the whole family. Birth doula is not a medical professional.
NOTE: If none of the packages work for you, if you have different needs or wants, please don't hesitate to reach out! I'm here for YOU. Contact me through the form on my website or send an email to [email protected]

Pregnancy & birth

The Rooted Birth Experience
Most comprehensive · Deep education · Full-spectrum support · Best for first-time Moms

What it includes (can be adjusted to your needs):
* Five prenatal visits (preferably in person but also possible online/over the phone). I believe it's very important for you to feel comfortable and safe with me as your doula. We'll talk about your fears and worries, and we'll go through them. I'll answer your questions to the best of my ability. We'll work on relaxation techniques for labor, positions, breathing, and more. I'll help you prepare for postpartum. Those visits will look just the way you need - I'm here for you.
* Additional resources and recommendations if needed - contacts to local health & wellness places, links to Instagram pages, articles, books - whatever you might need.
* My pregnancy & postpartum tea blends - to give you the comfort and nurturing during pregnancy and beyond.
* Additional communication - texts, emails, and/or/and calls throughout the pregnancy in between meetings, if needed.
* 24h on call starting at 37 weeks through birth - you never know when the baby will be born, so I'm here for you at any time.
* Continuous doula support at your birth space for the whole duration of labor and 2 to 4 hours afterward if desired.
* Labor, birth, and golden-hour photos - if circumstances allow and if desired (I'm not a professional photographer, but I think photos like this can be very nice to look back at later on).
* Phone/text support for two weeks following birth - it's such an intense time! I want to make sure you and your baby are doing OK.
* One in-person postnatal visit - whenever you feel the time is right (up to 40 days postpartum) and I'll support you in a way you need (can include me bringing you a meal, doing some light baby-related cleaning, helping with the baby, or being there for you to listen about your birth experience). I'm also available for overnight help ("night nurse").

Support and coaching are also available online. For more information, please feel free to contact me.

Full package is $1,300.
Acceptable forms of payment: cash, credit card, debit card, and HSA card. I do not accept any insurance. Payment plans available. A sliding scale for those struggling and on government assistance is available.
